Kleinendorst Bolt Tool

Checking to see if anyone knows if the Kleinendorst bolt tool for a Remington 700 will work for a Seekins action? Please see the pictures of my Seekins bolt. Would be using it to recock the bolt if it becomes decocked when out of the action (has happened to me several times and is a PIA).

Just use a small diameter Allen wrench across the cocking piece -- pull it back and turn to the cocked position.

Thanks for the reply however I have arthritis in my hands and looking for a tool of some sort to recock the bolt.

Just had one apart...no tools needed. Twist it to the right and the pin assy comes right out. Reverse to recock it. If you have some strength issues in your hands, a small rubber strap wrench is all you need to do this. -Al

I sure do appreciate all the responses! Midway had the Kleinendorst tool on sale so I ordered one for a Remington 700 action, will provide an update on whether it works or not. Never thought of a rubber strap wrench!
