Kidd vs Volquartsen

Any opinions on which is most accurate? I'm not too concerned about the weights of either but the accuracy of each. I would like first hand experience. 22LR of course.

I have a Kidd Supergrade it shooter great. It will run 0.5 moa out to 150yds. Their 2 stage trigger is the best 10-22 trigger made! Mine is set at 3oz/3oz for 6oz total. It can be adjusted to 1.25 lbs/ 1.25lbs It also changes the lock time, making like a bolt action lock time. No other trigger can do what the Kidd 2 stage can do.

Kidd triggers are nice,
my take on this is Volquartsen are a company to mass produce and Kidd is more specialty parts in a way

Kidd seems to be a little more accurate on the 6 barrels I have owned

I would give the node to Kidd. I have both. Kidd wins in the trigger dept. My full VQ rifle now has a Kidd trigger in it. Also the Kidd are a little less expensive. The Kidds also get the edge in the barrel mounting system. Now just loosen one screw and you can change out the barrel. So you can have one gun that does it all by swapping barrels and stocks. But you can't go wrong with either.

Well, I finally hit the buy button on the Kidd Supergrade but in the barreled action. I've also ordered the Victory Co. Titan stock. I'm looking forward to getting it all together. Thanks for all the input.

You won't regret the Kidd/Titan combo. Just know that you won't be able to use the Supergrade's barrel qucik change feature unless you can modify the Titan stock. You'll have to take the action out of the stock to do it.

Yea, I took all of that in to account. That seems to be ok for folks that are in a big hurry.

I have a snake barreled Volquartsen with laminate stock and a first model Kidd action with their heavy 20" barrel that I put together with a Volquartsen trigger group, Kidd bolt and Stocky's thumb hole stock. I didn't build the Volquartsen. It is a complete rifle with stainless action with threaded barrel and integral scope rail. Both will shoot low .300s @ 50 yds with the right ammo. Lapua Center-X is the most accurate with Wolf match extra not too far off with much lower price.
Hope this helps.
