I’m lucky enough to have a wife that shoots (no kids). Always amazed at the number of guys who say how lucky I am when I complain about her burning though 100 rounds in a Handi Rifle faster than I shoot half a magazine in an AR.

She just closed up her Kindle in disgust after reading the morning news saying “I can’t read this crap anymore”. Showed her this thread and was informed it is “a crying thread”. Reminded her of time with her father 50 some years ago when she learned to shoot. They still shoot together every now and then.

Thanks for sharing that moment, you two brightened the day of a much older father, daughter shooting team.

the only problem with all this, is that your going to lose your gun, so break out the reloading stuff and get to work, got to keep them stocked up,,

I set the rest and gun up and she went through everything else on her own.. Shot small groups and didn't need any assistance so I had her try to run a few off as fast as she could comfortably.. That ended up being what looked like 5 shots in one hole.. Gonna have her shoot all the leftover bullets this weekend.
