I have gotten a couple messages off line. "Ray, you shouldn't waste your match gun like that, they can't tell the difference".. Honestly, If she or her brother took to it and liked it I would be happy just to sit back and watch them have fun..

Thats crazy for somebody to think like that. Id let her wear out every good barrel i got if she wanted to shoot rocks on a dirt bank. Bring her down to arkansas and she can shoot my br rifles til shes sick of shooting. Ill load em as fast as she can shoot em

Don’t listen to that nonsense. My daughter (18) and son (15) started expressing an interest this summer in tagging along with dad to an F Class match. My daughter wanted to shoot my custom .308 and my son wanted to shoot his .223 savage

So my daughter, who has never shot in a competition, let alone out to 600 yards, proceeds to shoot a 592 - 23x on her first outing. She follows that up 596 - 24x. I’ve yet to shoot that good with it.

Now she’s refering to it as “her rifle”
