It was 54 years ago today that my friend James Paton Nicholson was killed in the Battle of Dai Do in VietNam.
A superb hockey player (his dad played in the NHL) served in the USMC.
Jamie was a Canadian, who in a quest for action crossed the border and signed up. He is buried in Charlottetown Prince Edward Island Canada. Every year my brothers (also his friend) or I place an American flag at his grave. 1651508252536.png
Long time ago but I remember him as if it was yesterday.
RIP Jamie. Not forgotten.
