KG-2 Bore Polish Residue

I've recently started using KG-2 on some of my older varmint rifles and it has really brought the accuracy back. I assume its because there was carbon build up in the throat that was not being removed by brushing alone. I really love this this stuff but it is a real PITA to get all the residue out. After dry patches I normally use patches saturated in Butches Bore shine but have had to resort to wrapping saturated patches around a brush to get all the black residue out. Is there a better way?

I use Iosso on a patch and short-stroke it ...concentating in the throat area. I clean Iosso out with a BBS soaked patch, followed by 3-5 passes with a bronze brush saturated with BBS, then a couple of dry patches, finally a lightly oiled patch. I suppose a nylon brush would work for this step......but why not keep it simple...I have rods dedicated to jags and brushes ....in each caliber that I shoot comp. I don't worry that final patch is totally white.

I've always used KG-3 afterwards and it takes no time at all to remove the KG-2. I never really used KG-1 until this year but holy-moly, it really speeds up the cleaning process.

I use a 22 cal nylon brush with some patches attached to get a real wet swab going with KG-1 and then upgrade to bore sized brushes for KG-2, 3, 12, and 4.
