For Sale, McMillan Kestros R stock inletted for a Kelbly's Golden Bear (can be opened up for an F-class Panda). $1250 shipped CONUS.
This stock was used in 2 of my 3 F-class Nationals podium finishes in 2020 and 2021.
Bedding includes T-shaped pillars and Marine-Tex. Since my Golden Bear was one of the first ones made and needed refinishing, the bedding would need to be checked with your action. I suspect mine is a .001 to .002 narrower than standard.
The RAD 2A mounting has been modified to sit as high as possible in the stock. As a result, the minimum length of pull is shown in the photos. It is about 14.5 to 14.75 LOP (measuring from where the trigger shoe is likely to sit).
A hole and inlet was made to allow changing the trigger without taking the action out of the bedding. There is a small hole just in front of the front guard screw hole. The tang bedding screw has to be removed, and the front guard screw. A long allen key is then inserted to loosen the front hanger screw. The trigger and hanger can then be removed.
It does not have adjustable cheekpiece hardware. Instead, the cheekpiece has been modified to fit over the adjustable weight holder. It is made of aluminum and holds tungsten rods. I used this to balance the rifle out.
I also installed a Wheeler Rudder on the stock to allow perfected tracking adjustments. This one runs straight, as has been seen on my YouTube channel.
