Kestrel 1000

I'm wanting to get a wind meter and I don't need anything with a lot of extras just something that work . Any input on the 1000?

Not a kestrel but bought a wind meter that plugs into the top of my iPhone. Works great if you just want the wind reading.

Caldwell makes a lower priced one. I have one but its still in the pkg as whoever gave it to me didnt know i had a kestrel

Dusty do you have the 1000 model or a higher up one?

Way higher up but i never use all the features like bluetooth and such
