Kershaw Emerson CQC Knife - What a deal!!

I used to really love a pocket knife and still do - but I like Ontario Knife's Rat II. Pretty cheap, well made and durable. If I leave home without a knife (highly unusual), I have to go back and get it, or stop and buy another. I work in a farming/outside job and I can be really rough on a knife.

Then I saw a neck knife on Ebay and when I researched it I found it was made by a guy named Doug Stice and when you can find them they are $125. I was able to get it for $65 brand new. Now, it has pretty much replaced my pocket knife for a work tool because it so handy, plus it has a flat head screw driver which is a great pry bar and 9/16 down to 5/16 wrenches. It is in my hand in the blink of an eye, with no digging in my pocket with dirty hands and there are many times the built in tools have saved me time and energy. View attachment 1075052
Interesting,I have never seen one of these

I'm pretty addicted to it and I have not seen anything that is as simple and versatile by anyone else. If I had one custom made I would have them grind marks so I could use it as a ruler. I wear it everywhere because the blade is only 2" long; funny how almost no one notices it. But work is where it really shines. As fast as I can put my hand to my chest, it is there and working. Plus it is pretty hard to get a regular knife out of my pocket when I am sitting/driving.

You would have to call them, but I believe Barry Dawson and his family will make his legendary neck knife via special order. Neck knives are made by an number of knife companies.

The pocket knives I carry on a daily basis are all fixed blade knives. No reaching in my pocket, and nothing to go into failure.

Can't you file your own marks in for the ruler?
