Kernel size XBR 8028

Hi all,
Is the kernel size of IMR XBR 8028 smaller than H4350 or Varget?
How does it flow through a progressive meter?
Would it work as well as H4350 in a 6XC w/107 SMK's I'm getting 1/4 min groups now so is it worth a try?

I shoot XTC and would like to load my short line loads progressively but I am getting to much variance with H4350 and Varget.

Where does it come in on the burn rate chart? Above and below ???

I've read that the problem with XBR is you can't get enough of it in a 6 PPC case but the 6XC case is bigger so.... Will it work or not?

Thanks,
Brian

Kernel size is smaller than H4350 and Varget by a lot. It meters very well. Kernels maybe a little bigger than N133.

I think you'll find it is a good substitute for Varget loads, but I think the burn rate may be too fast for a 6XC. There your H4350 or some Reloder 17 are just about ideal.

If you're already shooting small, I don't see a reason to switch to 8208 in the 6XC.
