Doan's stocks are top-drawer, for sure! A good friend sent me a link to a 52D for sale in a claro stock that Doan did in the H&H pattern, and I wound up buying it. The trigger had been worked over very similar to the two Kenyon-modified triggers I have on my two CMP 52Ds. We found a very nice 16x Unertl for this rifle, and when I zeroed the scope with SK & Lapua ammo, I was somewhat disappointed, as the results on a 50yd smallbore target were pretty loose. But as soon as I fed it a nice lot of Eley Match, it tightened right up.
