Problem with some of his PET LOADS is they are waaaaaaaaay over pressure for a lot of firearms. His book does have some good reading though.

Pressure testing has advanced since many of the Ken Waters Pet Loads articles were written. However, anyone that's been handloading for a while and learned to do it right will easily recognize that much of the Pet Loads data is conservative and quite safe; of course the usual handloading caveats always apply. Check the data against current data from several sources if you have any doubts.

I've seen other items on Amazon where one seller's price is, say, $1000, and other sellers at at $20-$30. The $1000 price just didn't seem connected to the real world.
At the same time, I wonder how many people paid the $1000.
