Ken Farrell scope bases

What do you think of these bases ? I am looking for a one piece base for a Cooper and these look good to me. Also, I notice that some are "full slotted" I am unclear as to what that means could someone help me out ? Thanks.

Ferrell scope bases are about the best money can buy. Excellent product I have many of them. They are my #1 choice even Cooper Fire arms offer them as a option. I would suggest a 20 MOA if you are using a target scope with 1/8" clicks. Buy once and never be sorry.

I put a Farrell rail on my Cooper M22 last year, For my money it don,t get any better. Ken Farrell 1-660-438-9456. I hope that helps you. You can,t go wrong with anything Ken builds. Tommy Mc..

Thanks folks .. The scope I am thinking of mounting at least initially has 1/4" clicks it's a Vortex Viper HS 6x24x50. I was thinking about using the Farrel rail and Burris Sig Zees. I can get a bit of elevation via the inserts that come with the rings , I still want to be able to adjust to 100 yds and am concerned that a 20 moa base might be too much, what do you think about a 10 moa? However I guess I could buy the 20 and then use the inserts to dial into 100 yds. if needed. Any comments would be appreciated.

Burris Sig Zee inserts -010 and +010 at rings 7" apart can get you ~10MOA.

front ring gets a -010 on the bottom and a +010 on the top, rear ring +010 bottom -010 top. If you have a POI misalignment left or right with the scope crosshairs centered, twist the inserts the appropriate direction.

Closer the rings are together the more MOA you can get, the inserts are in +/- thousandths thickness increments, +010 = .010" thicker than the 0 at the center.

The cant to the rail or scope will be approx. 10.38 inches at 100 yds for every 10MOA. At 1000 yds multiply by 10.

Don't worry that the 20moa won't work at a 100 yards with 1/4" clicks you will have plenty for 100yards shooting. If you had a scope with only 40 min of travel and 1/8" clicks it might be a problem(like a Nightforce 12X42X56BR) Burris Signature Zee rings are a excellent choice. They never mark expensive scopes.
