I live 30 minutes from Kelbly they did a couple barrels for me. Jim and Ian were great to talk to. Never toured the shop. I don't think any other company has as much CNC equipment as they have. Every barrel they chambered for me shot .350"-.400" groups in my varmint rifles.

I've been there 4 or 5 times now. I will be going back in the next week. Their facility is so unsuspecting. You would never expect to see what is inside. Found it interesting that Ian stated that only 4 percent of sales are now geared towards serious benchrest. Really surprises me with the way their products perform. I don't see letting my Panda's go anywhere.

At 2:10 as Ian enters the action fitting and finishing room, there is a tiny bench top Delta drill press that is an antique. I brought one home just like it less than a week ago. I may in fact have drill press issues.

Watched the video earlier today. I was a member there, also Chippewa Rifle club, and Canton McKinley, before I moved south.

Great video.
When I started in Benchrest back in the mid ‘90’s, the Stolle Panda was by far the most innovative and best out of the box action available.
Kelbly made their name with it.

It is now only 4% of their sales. How times change.

They are still a great company. They were able to change with the times, explore new markets in the firearms industry, and continue building on a great reputation.
