Kelbly Rings

Just got my Kelbly f-class action in with the 20 moa dovetail base. I'm using a Nightforce 12x42 56 mm scope. Kelby only makes 2 heights in the doubles. A 30mm and a tall 30mm. I prefer my scope as low as possible. Will the standard 30mm give me enough clearance? Is there any other manufacturers of these type rings? Thanks

Pretty sure the standard would be a perfect fit. The height from top of the base to the center of the ring is 1.1344" Even if they made a short in 30mm I think it would be to short for that 56mm objective.

The only other company that I know of (although there must be others) that makes a ring that fits the Kelby/Davidson style bases and rails is JJ Precision. They measure from the top of the base to the bottom of the ring, with the standard measuring .515" and the tall measuring .775. I'm thinking the standard would work, but if I was you I'd get out my caliper and/or ruler and do some measuring.

I recall looking at both these one time and concluded the JJ was a little lower in height than Kelby, but not by much.
