Kelbly 25MOA Rings 30mm

Could anybody that has a set of these rings confirm that they are machined internally on an angle to provide that slope at the predetermined ring spacing, which I understand to be 5.9". I did a search and there doesn't seem to be much info, other than that ring spacing dimension and one post from a user that suggested they were just different heights which would mean the scope would not be correctly aligned within the rings, ie just making contact on the ring edges. He said Kelbly's seemed to confirm that and took the rings back.

I'd try contacting Kelbly but the guy who tends to respond to emails seems to talk a bit in riddles so not sure if he would even understand the question.
