Kelbly MOA rings

I've seen some advertised but don't know how they're supposed to be set up.

I am a big proponent of the inserts on the Burris rings for both the cosmetic benefits and the MOA addition.

The only way I can see the Kelbly moa rings work would be to have them bored at a set distance from ea other and have that info given as a dictate for installation to prevent scope tube damage.

I went to their site but didn't see any info like that. Can anyone please enlighten me?

This is probably no help but I mounted a set of those Burris rings on a BAT today. Noted that the ring spacing would have to pivot the angle of those inserts in the outer ring. No issues but if it were all metal that did not move, it would have to be set for a certain distance apart. Anything else would not be on the same angle.

That is exactly my point..........I'd need to know what the distance was when they machined them.
