Not sure, I ordered BR III in black when they had 10% off sale for Black Friday and I believe Adam announced the new finish today on FB so I jumped on it, these are phenomenal actions, I had a LG built in 2023 on BR III and this gun shoots lights out.

I did the same...Wonder if its too late for me to add this finish? Looks sweet. Worth a call asking...

Kauger BRIII’s are the best value going for BR actions right now. I shot mine at the Tackdriver 6 with it just pillar bedded. I’d have glued and screwed it by now if I didn’t switch it from a LR and IBS legal stock.

I was going to order another Borden mountaineer a couple of months ago. Decided to try a Kauger CRS. Lots of accomplished shooters seam to be gravitating to Kauger. Cant wait to get it in hand. Adam said they are still waiting on 90* competition bolts.

Hey Jim, Alex is building same configuration as my low profile Deep Creek Tracker, basically a clone of my "Dark Angel" RB,LP,RE not a drop port, the only difference is the stock is gonna be made out of curly maple wood.

Here's the new curly maple stock, the rumor has it that Roy Hunter might be staining it black to go with the new Smoke Kauger BR III action

If anyone is interested contact @Alex Wheeler has enough curly maple to cut another one.

Ty Jackie, most likely this is gonna be my TD7 gun, with 1.250" straight barrel, 2" stainless steel ruder and the heavy Majesta it should be under the 22lb max weight.
