Always nice to have another quality action offering! Sounds like they are open to suggestions as to how to improve their product. Never a bad thing.

I own two of these actions for my rifles, and could do yours.Hate to revive an old thread but I am very interested in the BR action and wondered if anyone could recommend a smith that would spin up a barrel for this action?
Ronnie Millford or Larry ArcherHate to revive an old thread but I am very interested in the BR action and wondered if anyone could recommend a smith that would spin up a barrel for this action?
Terry did a 6 Dasher for me and very happy with the quality and results.Hate to revive an old thread but I am very interested in the BR action and wondered if anyone could recommend a smith that would spin up a barrel for this action?
Definitely Zack's work is second to none. So many he has sent this way now for me and my circle here I lost count. The thing I will not lose count of is the fact that they all have shot extremely well and the quality is top notch.@WSMNUT can. He builds on those often. Zack is great. Look up his site if needed. The only difference between a BR action and a F open action is that the F open rifle can weigh more so the actions tend to be larger to add weight. Like the BRMXD, its a BRM thats been around for a long time the action diameter is just bigger for weight. Its not a new or different action than the BRM. Its like a Bat M or B, you can get it 1.350 1.4, 1.47, and 1.550 in diameter, round octagon and multi flat. Integral lug and rail or not. Same action just different out side shape. They all shoot the same. Theres no reason a Kauger would not work for F open unless you prefer a heavier action. The weight has no bearing on accuracy of the action it just makes it easier to get to that 22 pound limit. But its only ounces, I think too many worry too much about it. I would not hesitate to build an open rifle on a 1.350 action. I have. And I have done the deflection testing. A 32" 1.250 barrel is not going to flex a 1.350 action enough to do anything. Theres lots of sponsorships in F class. You see this in PRS too. That makes it hard to make decisions about equipment.Anybody have input on these actions in F open. Seems like they are much less common than the other big brands. Is that just because they haven’t been around as long?
Happen to know of someone with a spare lh br 3lefty actions needed![]()
They keep them in stock for the most part, and they are great to deal with.Happen to know of someone with a spare lh br 3
I decided to see if Kauger has plans to build a heavier action in the near future. Response was yes and plan to release in 1-2 years. I know I was excited to hear this.
