Kahles where to buy & thoughts?

I sold a scope to a friend looking to replace it$ I like the kahles 6x24 skmr3. Have not looked through one but haven't read anything negative. Any thoughts and anyone know of a good place to buy? Thanks

My buddy has one. It is a great scope. Glass is super nice. I shot through it last weekend, in fact, and we were shooting in less than ideal conditions. I do wonder what you do if you have a problem with one, though. Does it go back to Austria?

I just had a problem with a Nightforce 4-16 ATACR, and they sent me a UPS call tag and paid for 3 day shipping to Idaho and 2 day shipping back to me.

I just read a post from Cameraland that said Swarovski has become the US distributor again.

I've bought several of the K624i AMR models from EuroOptic, Sport Optic, and most recently C&S Tactical. To date, I've owned seven of these scopes - five of the so-called Gen II models, and two Gen IIIs. Only reason I've sold any of them was to please customers who bought complete rifles from me - still own both the Gen IIIs & one remaining Gen II, all with AMR reticle. I would like to try a new Gen III with the SKMR3, but will hold off unless/until I manage to sell off a few of the rifles I've built to sell. Yeah, I'm sure I qualify as a Kahles fanboy, but there's a reason - they're really nice scopes, with 14 mil/revolution turrets that have that perfect detent/click combination that makes it easy to get just one click when that's all you want, great glass, a neat/novel location for the parallax ring, and a great selection of useful reticles. The elevation zero stop is easy to set - not that a scope with 14 mils per rev really needs a zero stop, especially with the little red pin that pops up to tell you when you're on the 2nd rev. I've been shooting behind these scopes since early in 2014, and have yet to have any sort of issue with any of the ones I've owned. When I get ready to buy one of the SKMR3 models, it'll likely come down to whichever of the three shops mentioned has them in stock.
