Kahles 1050 seems to have a white haze

Anyone have any experience with the Kahles 1050 seems to have a white haze? I have two and one looks like that? Love the scope and going to buy another, just seeing if anyone has any experience with this?

I have also experienced the white haze with the 1050 scope. I found it is very sensitive to eye placement, which helped somewhat. At Nationals in Raton I installed 2 sun shades which completely eliminated the issue for me. By the way a Nightforce shade will screw directly on if you already happen to have some.

If you are encountering this when the sun is between 10 o'clock and 2, then you will find that gluing black felt or velvet (not shiny velvet) on the inside surface of the sunshade should take care of this nicely

Yep. Really shows up on cloudy days or low light. That's why I sold mine. Resolution was great, just wasnt impressed with any other aspects of the glass.
