Anyone order the Kahles K864 yet?
This is the first scope that I've ever looked through and said I have to have it.I really want to, but the simultaneous release of the March 8-80x Gen2 is muddying the water on my decision making.
Yep, it was pretty much designed for F class, but still 5 ounces lighter than the Majesta.I was waiting for the specs to come out, looks like the LG benchrest crowd was left behind at 36.9oz it probably will not make the 17lb class without some gymnastics and only one choice of reticle as of now.
Jim, would please elaborate on this? This is the first scope that I've ever looked through and said I have to have it.
Clay, I looked through it at SWN also. The field of view is impressive. I always thought the 10-50 was a little dark compared to the NF comp and the March Highmaster but the 864 was nice and bright at 55 power, which is where I usually shoot at. I own a Zco and always thought that glass was the best I've ever looked through but the 864 riveled it.Jim, would please elaborate on this?
I talked to a fella who looked through on at the SWN and he said it was "BAD AZZ".
Is the clarity better then the 10-50 at higher magnification?
Of course it is early, maybe too early to know, but who well does it hold?
