Kahles K1050 - Ocular movement

Lock the scope down solid and look through the scope while moving the ocular lens. You’ll see the image and reticle move together (probably very slight). Your POI will not change even a little bit as the image and reticle are married at that point through the last lens.

I had a problem with my Kahlas K1050 I sent It in for repairs and shipping to RI is not cheep.
Then when I called to check to see if the repairs would be covered by warranty I was advised before they could tell me the scope would be sent to the factory in Austria. I sent the scope in July my expected return date is mid to late September.

To get something, you give up something. That service time is unacceptable..... You need two one to use while you send one back..... jim

As of today still in Austria, better hope you never need any repairs. The last time I called I was told repair times are longer at the end of the year. Lucky I had a NF as a back up!

I've got three Kahles K624i scopes on my Bighorn comp rifles - one's a Gen 2, the other two are Gen 3s. Never had the slightest problem with any of these three, nor with two other K624i scopes I sold with the rifles they were mounted on. These scopes have 34mm tubes, 56mm objectives - I've never been around or handled a K1050, so don't know how construction compares on them; but if I suddenly came into some serious money, I'd have 3-4 more of these scopes to go on other custom rifles that currently have less expensive scopes mounted...I love the turrets, AMR reticles, optical clarity & contrast, and the 100% reliable/repeatable tracking.

They are great scopes but if something goes wrong with them it’s a long wait on repair time. I just received an e-mail my scope will be back in country this week and my projected return shipping date is 15 of this month. I don’t think anyone would disagree with me there repair time sucks
