K&M Priming tool and Sinclair shell holders

I just recently bought a K&M priming tool and I want to know if the Sinclair shell holders work with this tool in place of the Lee Auto Prime shell holders. If that is true, do they work better?
Thanks, John

Hey JohnO:

From picture in Sinclair's catalog, it appears they will work in K&M priming tool.

When you call Sinclair's to order, ask them for sure.

Whether they work better, I can't answer, but IMHO I doubt anyone may know.

Hope this helps, Regards.

Crusty,
The reason for asking is that the tool works quite well, but the Lee shell holder for a .223 is fine with Winchester brass but is a little particular with LC and WCC brass because of the way it is cut. The same brass fits OK in a Redding or RCBS shell holder. I did manage to modify an RCBS shell holder to fit, but that was a lot of work and it isn't a perfect match.

JohnO, I have been using that combo some lately & it works great. I was having trouble with some Lapua 223 brass in my other holders, but the Sinclair SS shell holder seems to have a better fit; they also seem to hold the cases in better alignment with the priming tool, too.

Thanks, Joe
I spoke with a guy from K-M this morning and he said there is a Lapua 338 case that the Lee shell holder does not fit well. He had no knowledge about Sinclair shell holders, however.

I will take your advise and order a couple of Sinclair shell holders. The K-M tool is quite nice. It does not matter how slow it is as I have plenty of time.

My set up is K&M with Sinclair caseholder and Dewalt 18v portable drill. Got this set up off this Forum. Imperial for the neck. Great for 223 as I have done over 4k so far. Nice clean finish. Got seperate neck turner for each rifle including each 223. ;)
