Just lost my mom

Exactly two hours ago I lost my mom. She battled cancer off and on for two years. We had moved my parents in with us when their health started failing and all of her family were here for the end. There were tears for sure and there are as I type this, but I’m so happy she is no longer in pain and I know I will see her again someday. If you don’t know the peace that only believing in Jesus can bring, please look me up at a shoot sometime and we can have a talk.

Dave.
Very Sorry to hear about your mom. My mom died 2 years ago so I know the feelings. May she Rest In Peace.

She is at peace now Dave! The good Lord has her in his arms. Now it time for you to keep an eye on your father. He will need you now more then ever.
Four years is a long battle, but sounds to me like that would be a direct representation of the will and character that she will be remembered for!
We are all behind you and your family. If ever there was a need, do not pause to ask!

Dave - I lost my father to cancer on January 6th. I truly understand what it is, and how it feels. I pray that your peace comes soon, and the memories are good ones. She is in a better place now, and free of the pain.

So sorry for the loss, no matter the circumstance and regardless of how merciful it my be we are never really ready and it always hurts. Glad you have the faith, it is the only way I can face the day, will send up a prayer for you and family, cry today, laugh tomorrow.

Dave,
I only know you from your post on this site but I lost my Mom in 2007 so I know the pain and hurt you have. I found the consolation of which you speak.

Best regards,
T W Hudson

My sympathy on the loss of your Mom. God bless you for having her in your home. I was able to take care of my Mom during her last couple of months so she could stay in her home. It meant a lot to her and more to me. Taking care of one's elderly parents is how it's supposed to be.
