the siii scopes have low dispersion glass too
Really? Where is that advertised because it's not in their 2018 catalog. I owned a 8-32 SIII model a few years ago and it definitely did not have ED glass like the new SV models.
Just HOW good is Sightron glass???

when I bought my first 8x32 I may have called them or it may have been in the then current catalog, at the time I wanted a scope that would minimize chromatic aberration which called for ed glass. I would not have bought the scope im pretty sure if the aberration problem would have been present. they might have stopped using the ed glass on the siii now that they have the sv line, whereas the siii was the top of the line for them at the time. I will call them on Monday and confirm if I am right or if my comment was wrong. will follow up and post on Monday. good weekend to all. bryant.

just talked to sightron and the 8x32 and the 10x60 do not have ed or low dispersion glass. sorry about the misinformation guys. adios
