Just Bought Leica (Leitz) Trinovid 8 X 32 Binoculars. Does Anyone Know?

I just bought an older Leica 8 X 32 Trinovid binoculars with the Leitz marking. These have a SN of 697408. These are made in Germany and they seem super sharp and clear. Love the small size. The little leather case is strapped onto the strap with the binos. I think this one beats my Bausch and Lomb Zephyr 9 X 35. Just wondering if anyone knows about these binoculars?
Also, while hunting prairie dogs, I scanned the area with the B & L's and got a headache after a while. Is this a sign of bad binoculars or just eye problems with me?

I bought a pair of these in Berlin in apx 1968 or 69 for 500DM ($125 in those days), and they are still my go-to binoculars for hunting. I have several other very good binoculars but the Leitz are the smallest and lightest and have great glass.

I'll bet your serial number is about the same as mine; 697408. Leica says they were made in Germany in 1969. Nice to know you still enjoy them.

Mine are in the 740--- category. It could even have been 1970 when I got them. I was stationed in Berlin waaay back then.
