Just arrived: Great Scott Shooter Supply barrel vise

And she is a beauty. What makes this one different from others is that it has a recess for the recoil lug which will reduce slippage on barrel removal on a difficult factory barrel which may have been on for 20 years. This vice will make removing a factory Remington barrel much easier and with less chance of damage to the action or barrel as a lot of the stress is going to be on the recoil lug.

And Trump burned down Cheryl's She Shed too.

He put up a new website a while back and has had trouble getting it to work. He posted recently, perhaps late last week, that it is down again and he is working on it. I can't find the post.

He did one batch of these vises and I'll let him discuss why they weren't a commercial success.

Since then I have made my own similar vise that is a huge technical success for Rem barrels.
