Joystick top for Sinclair Rest

Recently came into possession of a Sinclair Competition front rest to replace my original Caldwell Fire Control. Love the rest but sort of miss the joystick. Anyone have experience with the Shade Tree Joystick rest or other suggestions until I can make the upgrade to a SEB?

I've recently put a Shadetree top in my Sinclair Competition rest. I am very happy with it. You'll not be disappointed. You may want the Seb but you'll find you won't need it.

I did , too! It’s a great upgrade and a good investment. When you want to upgrade, you can get most of your investment back. If you don’t beat it up, that is.
I got a great deal on an old Sinclair with a Shadetree top because the base was dinged and rusty. Got it for the price of the top.

The post size on mine is 1”-14tpi. Not sure if earlier versions are the same though. Best to measure your own as earlier versions may be different

You can write Butch and find out what you need as far as screw deminsiens

No longer use the setup, but have tried it several years ago. Didn't work for LR for me...I'm a knob turner.

I have a Sinclair with the Shadetree top and I love it. Its not a SEB but it is nice for the money.

Got a Shadetree top for my Grizzly aluminum bottom. Scores improved but I scored a Farley on this site and it works better in F-Open for me. I still use the Shadetree for RF Benchrest, and it works fine and sure is easier to transport than the Farley.
