John and I both,me w/ my 260AI- I was on position 28, John on 29) stunk up the joint at Camp Butner's F Class 1000yd match this weekend. 10mph winds gusting up to 30mph changing direction, mirage going with then opposite of the wind- fun!

Well,pardner, you just revived it and thank you very much. I've run this sucker to ground a couple of times and can't keep it up. Auto restarts and hard drive freeze ups (I think/I guess). Very interesting reading and full of info.

Has experimented over the last year with a .284 Winchester and a .243 Winchester. We had a bad barrel with the .284 and the results can not be used conclusively. John708 had me set back the .243 to another 6mmBRX after about 600 rounds. he is planning to experiment with a 7mm RSAUM and a standard 6mmBR this upcoming year. My bet is he will return to the 6mmBRX.

I'm sticking to my 6BRX, though I could not get it right last year. I believe I had a bad barrel but I'll take it and my Hawkeye to Williamsport in 2 weeks to see if one of those guys can enlighten me. I've got 2 Kreigers and a Brux to go b4 I have to buy more.
I will also try a 6mmSuper LR on a 40X, but that's another thread.
Hope we keep this one running as I've learned a lot from RustyStud and John708
