John wins NRA Smallbore nationals Lones Wigger Iron Man Trophy

Sorry ive not been on much, we've been busting butt between doing college orientation and shooting stuff. Just spent the last 12 days at Camp Atterbury doing the NRA smallbore nationals. John shot every round of the 34 events to win the Lones Wigger Iron Man Trophy, as well as the mentor match, and selected to the Drew Cup International team. He did all this with the gun you all helped him get. You all made this happen. We are on our way to CMP Nationals so if you see John let him know what this means, because the NRA didn't really do anything. Gave him a plaque and see ya next year. He does not really know what he has done, that its special. Let him know this is a tru honor, that he fought hard to get. Thank you.

They have a ton of rankings. John had only shot the NRA 1time before do he was a sharpshooter, and they had intermediate junior, junior, collegiate, then the adult categories. They weren't a lot of kids shooting because unfortunately the NRA wasn't real welcoming in that aspect. So here are all his awards.

John is very fortunate to have a supportive Mom and family. As the father of a daughter who started competing in the 4-H shooting Sports program and made it onto the stage a few times at Perry as well as to the Olympic try outs I know how proud you are of John. I also know how much effort and support it takes to make it to the matches and to plan and finance the travel involved.

Hope the CMP matches go well also.
