FOR SALE: John Loh /JJ Industries front rest with two (2) front posts and rest/bags

It is with mixed feelings that I put this up for sale.

This is a hard-to-come-by rest made by JJ Industries/John Loh, that has been well-cared for and appears as close to new as possible.

It is rock-solid and the horizontal windage tracking is smooth and linear.

The coarse elevation adjustments with the mariner wheel are smooth, and the fine-elevation adjustment is via a brass speed screw. The rest has a super-fine thread for very precise horizontal & vertical adjustment.

Got a SEB NEO-X, so can't justify keeping both. The Loh rest deserves a better home and being used. I'm getting lazier/older where I grab the lighter rest to go to the range.

The WHOLE SET includes:

*2 front posts/heads

*Three (3) front bags:
Edgewood 3” long-ear with slick material,
Edgewood 3” regular-ear with slick material, and
Protektor 2” bag for regular rifle forend.

*J.Loh Bag block (1)

*Two 1” Loh riser blocks for shooting uphill. You can add 1” (1 block) or 2” (2 blocks) to elevate the front rest height. Comes with matching SS screws in proper length.

*SKB Roto-X 18x18x10 Transport Case (as recommended by John Loh) with CaseClub polyethylene foam CNC custom-cut for Front Rest and extra top.
(Polyethylene foam is similar to the pool foam noodles and not the pick 'n pluck foam type)

Excellent Condition and well-maintained.

$2000 $1900 for everything. plus shipping costs to you.

(Shipping is estimated to be $200, but will give you exact costs.)

Shipping and insurance included to you. 12/31/2023.

Personal checks accepted, with shipping after check clears 5-7 days.

Is This rest still for sale ???

This is the blurb in accurateschooter.com http://bulletin.accurateshooter.com/tag/jj-industries/

"Another nice feature John provided in our special rest was an extra black rectangular “riser” block that fits between the normal base and the upper section (riser not shown in photos). This raises the whole bag assembly up an extra inch. That extra “lift” comes in handy when your target is placed “uphill” at a much higher elevation than the benchtop. The riser block is so nicely made and finished that it looks like part of the original unit when installed."

John Loh thought of 4 oiling holes above the 2 horizontal rods (for windage).
They are in the square base above the 2 horizontal rods.
The "screws" are in fact the oiling holes.
Put some 30SAE motor oil in each of the 4 holes.204718734_4500486723317376_5373366920001323016_n.jpgIMG_3800.JPG

Somebody is about to be happy with their new purchase. I suspect the price of making these same rests new, based upon today's inflation and manufacturing costs, and based upon the overall quality of the finished product, would be SPOOKY!!!!
