Joel Kendrick of North Carolina won two IBS Shooter of the Year awards and won the first IBS 600 Yard National Chamiponship in 2004. Joel set several AGG world records. He used two rifles, a BAT and a Borden. I own the Borden rifle now. In the article below the rifle I own is the purple stocked rifle. Joel later restocked the rifle with a Terry Lenoard carbon fiber walnut stock. The 50 year old walnut came off Joel's grandad's farm. Serial # of the rifle indicates it was made in 2000 and Joel purchased the rifle in 2002 from Jim Borden who was in Piedmont, N. C. shooting a match.
