I took a couple of videos of my son shooting at Piedmont this weekend’s IBS 600 yard match. He shot a 1.0 then a 1.1 on the 1st two targets, then a 1.9 and a 2.1 on the next two. The difference in the two sets of groups was a difference in neck tension I am pretty sure now that it has happened 2 different times. On shooting technique, it took me years to develop, learning from the best shooters in the nation. Dave Tooley, Bill Shehan, Terry Brady, Joel Kendrick just to name a few back then. What took me years to put together, I taught Hunter in two, 30 minute cessions. I did have to help him in matches for a while with adjusting the scope. But now it is better if I sit back and keep my mouth shut or I will mess him up. He won HG group this month and won HG Overall last month. I am proud of him!
