Thanks to all my Tomball buddies for a great day.
I never did get started at 100 yards and shot a poor match. Even dropped a point in all that windy mashup.
200 of course did not get easier as the wind never let up. However, I found a little condition that worked and kept coming around. It would only give a shot it two at a time but I hung on to it all afternoon.
A great way to celebrate my birthday for sure.

Again, great shooting. Easier said than done!

One item I wanted to mention was the barrel I won the 100 yard with was the 1-17 Bartlien made from their 400 Mod material.

When Frank sent it to me, I chambered it up for my favorite 30BR It shot really well, but I never make determinations on things untill it it proves its self in Competition.

The barrel did its part. It performed as well as any other Bartlien I have used.

Thanks for posting a picture of us. Club president Michael Young said our engagement was the first he knew of at the Tomball Gun Club. We deeply appreciate the Pullum brothers and all our friends who were there to share our best ever moment. Neither of us earned a trophy at the match, but we sure ended up lifetime winners.
