JLK bullets

Start at .015 in from a touch and work back at .005 at a time. when you find the sweet spot, refine ,002-.003 at a time. When I was shooting them in a 6.5x284 they were a mild jam, I just don't recall how much.

Lloyd, I think I remember you and I comparing notes on the JLK 140’s a few years back We were surprised that we both ended up @ .012 in from touch on 6.5/284, 6.5x55GWI. I had a couple of 260AI barrels that liked them there also. Somewhere around that depth is a good place to start for sure. I have some of the new ones on hand and like the OP stated, they are VERY uniform in all aspects right out of the box

I think you are correct. The GWI really liked those bullets.
