JJ ROCK XL 375 CHEYTAC BARREL OPTIONS

Previous to testing them, just upon appearance, I would have thought they would need to be lead cored to have that claimed BC. While they are amazingly nosey and pointed, they aren’t unusually long at all. And of course a given shape in solid copper is less dense than with lead.

Testing a headwind is tough. I should get a few and try them next the the 350 badlands sicbm bullets I’m shooting now. I’m running a .945g1 and it’s held true for me. I have them leaving the muzzle at 3172fps

I’m looking to bump to 3,150 too, after seeing that there’s no primer pressure signs at all, and based on what other guys are getting from them.

At that speed these would rival the .416 Barrett in terms of hitting targets. Less splash to work with but a lot more pleasant to shoot and pay to feed.

Great stock choice. The Beast has such a huge fore end that it will tend to dwarf barrels, unlike the older Big Mac design.

I built a .408 Cheytac on an “Urban Camo” Beast II with a very long, straight 2 inch diameter Krieger barrel that doesn’t need a muzzle brake, which is good for the ears. 2 inch next to a 1.25.

I just came

That's sort of rude.

Now on topic for the new dates:

Lehigh Defense has been sold to Wilson Combat, the pistol folks. Their newer website was misleading and has since been amended again but the lowdown is that the Match target bullets have been put on hold for the time being while Wilson puts their emphasis on the pistol bullets and a very few of top profit makers for rifle bullet bullets. Those Match bullets mentioned above are not on the agenda for manufacturing any time soon. Fortunately, I bought enough to get me through this year but not the next.

These buyouts not only cost us more money but in this case cost us the bullets we compete with. Shooting and competing is only going to get more expensive but more difficult.

:(
