I am proud to say that it appears Jim Hardy reset a national record at the Butner LR regional this past weekend. Jim shot 200-14x with irons at 1000 yards to reset the Senior 1000 Yard Iron Sight National Record.

The previous holder of this record was Mid Thompkins with a score of 200-12x.

Jim works very hard at the sport. He has a wealth of knowledge, particularly about reloading, that he has been more than willing to share with anyone who asks. Jim is the embodiment of a true champion!"

Thanks for your kind words. I am humbled by the experience and hope to keep it up. It looks like the 7mm and 180 Bergers had a good day at Butner in F-Class and Prone.

To the extent that I did anything correct in the match, the glory goes to Jesus Christ and I dedicate the Sr. National 1000 yd record and the Butner record to Froggy's brother who has left the range and gone on to a better life.

It does not suprise me all that much because he REALLY REAlly wants to do better EVERY TIME he shoots. He listens to every thing others say And adapts it to what he is doing to become succesful. A true embodement of a riflemean in the hunt for perfection. Hear hear MR Hardy. Fine shooting indeed sir.
