Other than cleaning from time to time if a primer is pierced the sear breaks.I would be interested if anyone has had a problem with a Jewell trigger and what was needed for repair.
Lighter Fluid = Charcoal briquet lighter fluid. It both cleans and lubricates. For normal cleaning, flush and shake excess fluid out.All I can say is what Arnold Jewell said. "Clean w/lighter fluid, and do not lubricate". Use a good bore guide to keep solvent and any lubricant out and you should have no issues. NEVEVER spray any trigger w/WD40, accidentally or on purpose
Yes, it is charcoal lighter and NOT the lighter fluid for cigarette lighters. This is according to the 6.5 Guys Youtube video where they spoke to Jewell to clarify this. Many of my friends stubbornly refuse to believe this for some reason.Lighter Fluid = Charcoal briquet lighter fluid. It both cleans and lubricates.
