JEWELL TRIGGER ALLEN WRENCH SIZE

Nick Caprinolo

Gold $$ Contributor
I am in need of the size of allen wrench for a Jewell trigger recock action screw. It is the small screw that goes directly into the trigger.

Exactly what mine is. You're talking about the hex that goes through the trigger, right?
Yes, That's the one. I don't understand why they didn't include one with the trigger. They supply different springs but no way to install them. Their website states they are unable to obtain supplies and are looking for a new vender. The next problem will be finding one. What a mess

I received a tiny, long handled hex driver with my very first Jewel, never got one with the last 2. Glad I kept it.

I have run across some metric stuff lately.
The .050 is common. I have seen guys fight them, only to find the end is rounded off of their .050.
Bondhus is what I buy. Got to the point a few years ago I couldn’t walk by a set. Clearance isle at a tool out let, had a bunch of NAPA stuff, bought all the sets they had for $1 each.

Have also run across some odd size torx stuff lately.
