Ditto.That's a Jewell. I've never seen one with a 4th screw.
yes, over-travel screw is in there. Agreed, the pic is a little dark.Ditto.
It's hard to see if the original over travel screw is still in place????
That's awesome. Do you know what that screw does?I have a few like that, but it looks like only the BR triggers have it, off a rifle built in 1991. =full]1699769[/ATTACH]View attachment 1699769
Thank you very much for the info. I didn't even know these existed. It's a Jewell 2 stage trigger. I don't think they offered or sold them for very long at all. It has a secondary spring behind that setscrew for 2nd stg adjustment and has the extra 6th screw(s) in the sideplate with an extra internal boss for the spring to bear upon.
Adjustment:
Screws #1-4 in order from front to back.
- Back off 2nd stage screw (screw #4) 3/4 turn. Unit is now a single stg unit.
- Set 1st stg pull weight (screw #3).
- Set over travel (screw #2).
- Set 2nd stg weight (screw #4).
- Set sear (screw #1).
I've got one that has a left-hand safety in a Nesika V I've had for at least 10-15 years. I'd kind of forgotten about it until this post. I long ago adjusted the set part out. I couldn't remember which gun it was in, so I had to take 3 out of the stock to figure it out. It's a Jewell 2 stage trigger. I don't think they offered or sold them for very long at all.
