Jewell safety can be taken off???

Bought a jewell trigger that came with the standard remington side safety. Want to use it for a bench gun and wonder can I take it off??? without any problems? Thanks shive

It can be removed. The snag will be using some type of shims / spacers to replace the safety lever arm thickness. Some guys put the safety in fire mode and cut the lever off at the top of the trigger.

You can call jewell to get the pins and such to remove it
