broken jewell

Hi

I pierced a primer in my 6 BR rifle and broke the jewell upper lever .
Comparing with a jewell without safety, I realized that the upper lever is slightly different and that the lower lever is different too .
Will a upper lever from a without safety jewell work if I swap then?
Probably the safety will no longer work, but this is a bench gun...

Send the trigger back to jewell for repair is out of question, as I live outside USA

Find someone in your home country to bush your firing pin to prevent pierced primers in the future.

Maybe a call to Jewell and see if they can advise you and /or ship parts????

Get an extra now while you get that one fixed

Make sure the extra one is a TT! Then you won’t have to worry about the back up breaking.

Liseo, I just talked to the factory, a replacement sear is 15.00 plus approx 15.00 for shipping. Send them a letter and a MO
and they will get the part to you. If you can enclose the same picture you posted here. It removes all doubt of part ID. LDS
