Jewell BR vs. HVR

What, if any, is the difference between a BR and HVR trigger if they are both set at 1.5 oz. Other than the obvious of the BR not having a safety. I picked up a HVR for a smokeless muzzle loader build and like how easy it is to switch one spring and set it really low for load work up and then heavier for hunting. Got to thinking is there any reason to not use the HVR in a f-class rifle set low and then have the flexibility to bump it up to a pound or two for some varmit/long range hunting? Or is there some clear advantage that the BR trigger has at the really low pull weight settings.

I have used a HVR on my short range BR rifle for well over 10 years. At the time, I had read that it was more rugged than the BR, and since they both could be set equally low I got the HVR. If you look at the instructions, that show the internal workings of both, you can see the difference, that allows the HVR to be used with heavier trigger springs. Looking back, knowing more than I did then, and that I have never used it for higher pull weights, I would probably just opt for the BR, but for any application where you want to work a the high end of the BR pull weight range, or slightly above, I would use the HVR. Which other one that you use, I would do some research as to how shooters blueprint them. For competition use, I think it is well worth your time.

My reasoning is a bit different. I prefer the HVR over the BR because not all of the shooting I want to do falls within BR environments. There are times when I want to use the BR rifle for other styles of shooting and that BR trigger can be too light to perform comfortably in those environments. The flexibility of the HVR serves both masters so I prefer it hands down.
