agreed , just crazy to me that a company wouldn’t mark the outside in some way to know without having to dismantle it to look inside to know which one you have, or am i missing something and they are easy to tell? The HVR was available without safety or bolt release. I have one in that configuration. The tip of the intermediate lever on the end that engages the trigger, is different on the HVR. It is hinged, so that it can override the trigger, as the trigger resets, when heavier springs are installed. It works off of the sear spring. https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=Jewel+HVR+diagram
You can pretty much figure if it has a safety and a bolt stop it's an HVR.agreed , just crazy to me that a company wouldn’t mark the outside in some way to know without having to dismantle it to look inside to know which one you have, or am i missing something and they are easy to tell?
