Jard Trigger

How heavy do you think a JARD could be set? I'm interested in one and it is a hunting rifle for me but the factory 2 screw trigger isn't cutting it. I have a Timney on the way but I am drawn to the JARD because of those that seem to have got it to work, love them. Everyone else doesn't seem to have successfully installed them for one reason or another. I figure I'd order from Brownells for easy return if needed. There just isn't much info about them floating around.

Everyone talks up the SSS but their reputation to produce is awful, no one has them in stock, and I am absolutely not ordering from them direct.

I already looked it up, thanks. I figured I can adjust higher and if so I wondered if anyone adjusted it higher than 1.5# considering it's a 1# and some are running it at 8oz.

Yeah mine was a top bolt release savage long action. The whole sear assembly is bent though u can see it with the naked eye. I might have them send me a replacement or try on another savage I have bc I rly like how they relocated the sear

They sent me a new one and it didn't work at first. I had to grind a lil bit off the inside of the trigger bracket and also polish up the upper part of the trigger bc the sear engagement was hanging up on it nearly every time and I had to physically reset it. Once I got got those qwirks worked out it's proven to be the most consistent savage trigger I've used to date . Breaks between 8-10 oz every time on my dig scale and feels much better than my one pound sss competition trigger

The Jard in my Ruger precision was absolute garbage. The first one they sent me didn't fit in the lower. I had to file down the pins, and even then the safety would not work.

Called them up and they sent me a new trigger.

New trigger fit into the lower this time without any filing, and the safety selector actually went into safe. However, the damn thing still fires, even in safe! Called and emailed, no answer and no response.

Would highly discourage anybody from doing business with them.
