For those that don't know, Jackie is an extremely talented individual. An excellent shooter and family man.

He selflessly has contributed to the shooting community for longer than most of us have shot. AND he has a hot Chevy Chevelle that would blow your mind. Cool cat.

A better friend than most of us realize.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jackie at the TD last year. We sat next to each other in the loading area and the conversation was quite spirited! We had a good time laughing about the Helen Keller Benchrest match we were participating in, otherwise known as the Tackdriver.

Pat, I met Jackie in the late 90s I believe at a match in Houston. We chuckled at the thought of a rookie trying to beat us with his 25 cal BR rifle. I could tell you a lot of stories and all show that he is a very honest and giving person. I still have the special crowning tool that he made for me years ago.
He has contributed a lot to our shooting community! I call him a dear friend.

+1 on this. Jackie and Jimmy always give good advice. I've also read countless old threads on this site with contributions from them and others and have learned a ton.

I especially like Jackie's big lathe. I think you can wear out a pair of work boots walking from one end to the other. He always helps others with rifle and reloading issues. Did you see the picture of his Tack Driver rifle for this year? I love it!

I get that a lot. Marilyn and I will celebrate 55 years of marriage this year, and how the heck she has put up with me for over half a century is one of life’s mystery’s.
I fell in love with her the first time I met her, and have never fallen out of love with her.

After reading each others post for years, I finally had the pleasure of meeting Jackie and Marilyn at Raton, NM in 2024.

A common trait among BR competitors is paying it forward...helping fellow shooters out just because it's the right thing to do. Jackie, Randy Robinett, Joe Duke, Sam Duke, Jim MacGregor, Dave Tooley, Alex Wheeler. 'Humble' Henry Rivers, Mike Ezell, etc are just  some of the ones that do this.

Class acts, for sure and certain.
