Jackie Schmidt Wins Texas State Varmint for Score Championship

We had a gorgeous day at Tomball to shoot the Texas State Varmint for Score Championship. Sunny, breezy, 80 degrees.

this is the first big Match since our range renovation. Whereas we solved all of the bullet containment problems, the drainage issues, and succeeded in making the range look first class, what e failed to do was make it any easier to shoot. It’s still “Tomball”

Jim Moore won the 100 yard with an excellent 250 24x. Jackie Schmidt won the 200 yard with a hard fought 248 5x as the wind and mirage took over.

Jackie Schmidt won the Texas State Chamail ship with a 248 25x.

Dr Tim has some health problems that he copes with. He loves shooting, and puts a great effort into being part of Benchrest.

This was the first Score Match he has shot in years. He had a few problems that we got ironed out.

Despite his setbacks, he was at the bench shooting. In my opinion, that makes him a winner.
