I need someones help please, Does anyone know where i can view Al Nyhus's article on jacketed bullet making, the complete article is what I'm after, I have found brief segments but cannot seem to find the in detail one I'm after. Thanks ~ Steve
Warren Page points this out in his book," The Accurate Rifle". Handmade bullet making is not the road to riches. Especially today with the high costs of good jackets and lead wire. I know I've been making my bullets since 1954. However, the end result is if you know what you're doing and pay strict attention to all of the details, and have top notch dies, you should be able to turn out bullets from batch to batch more accurate and consistent than the mass produced ones. I've proven this many times over the years.RMulhern said:Unless one has sophisticated technology involved in bullet making aka Sierra Bullets for instance.....don't think you're gonna get rich making bullets! It's a slow, meticulous process if done correctly! I made .30 caliber match bullets for years and wore myself out doing it. It reached the point whereby I was spending more time at the presses than I did on the range and after wearing out my shoulder joints and back....I quit!![]()
