WOW that is a lot. My load for 68 gr. Bart's is 29.6 gr. of VV-N133 @ 3442 fps. 30.0 -31.0 gr. would probably be between 3500 & 3600 fps. That is screaming for a 6PPC no doubt.

It depends on your lot of powder. I have a lot of 133 from 8-2022 and it doesn’t hit 3400 until I’m at 30.6-30.8. It tunes in around 30.3-30.8 depending on atmospherics.

Yeah there were 2 lots for 2022. From what I understand, one was hot and one was slow. You must have the hot lot!

6PPC case fill is simple. fill the case tap the bottom to make room for the bullet and there is your load.
dumb it out and weight it. Should be 30.5

Absolutely Jackie. He did not get into the BR Hall of Fame by not knowing how to make his rifle and loads work for himself.
